You will learn how to make their wire armatures, sculpt them in wool, cover them in doll skin fabric, make their little wigs and all of their clothes. Patterns are provided for everything.
Access to this class is for a year, more than enough time to create your little dollhouse people. Materials are not included but kits are available from reputable online suppliers.
The following classes are taught via step-by-step videos in English, with all explanation on the video.
The classes include a glossary, FAQs, troubleshooting, a PDF that gives you guidance to the materials you need and patterns that you can use to finish a doll.
The classes teach you how to form and sculpt the doll face only, so you concentrate your energy in understanding needle felting, Waldorf inspired dollmaking techniques and soft fabric sculpture.

This is a hands-on workshop where I will teach you the two most common ways to stuff dolls: pushing the wool (puff-stuffing) and rolling the wool. For rolling wool I recommend a wool wand or similar tool.
You will sew your pattern pieces at home, but if needed, I can send you a couple of simple templates for legs and arms you can practice with. I highly recommend you use your own pattern, so that you learn how to stuff your doll.
The workshop will take place over 2 days, two hours each, on a weekend. The dates are Feb 14th and 15th, or the 21st and 22nd.
The workshop will be offered LIVE ONLINE with no replays.
Depending on registration, because the students will be all over the place, I will offer different time zones so that you can attend. For example: 9 AM Lisbon for European/UK/Asia residents, 5 PM Lisbon for North America residents, 9 PM Lisbon for Australia/NZ residents, on both days.
Price $235 USD
Taught Live Online, 2-day workshop, No Recordings/Replays
COMING SOON: Summer 2026
This workshop takes about 2 to 3 hours each day. I teach you the technique I use to articulate my doll’s heads, without the need to felt them atop a wooden handle or dowel, or use a cotter pin. It is a technique I devised myself after years of experimentation, and I have successfully taught it to many dollmakers via this online workshop.
You will learn how to create the joint and how to deal with covering the head to a smooth fabric finish. There is homework to attend so I recommend this workshop for intermediate dollmakers who can take directions such as “needle felt a doll head”. I won’t give you step by step instructions in the homework file, but I do give you different options for the neck construction.
Price $385 USD | June 15th ~ 28th, 2026
Registration will open in April
Join me in creating a 14”/15” weighted baby doll. This summer you can learn to sculpt a sweet baby doll’s face, add weight (both to the head and torso) for a very comforting feel, and make the doll head and body with a lot of movement without needing plastic joints. You will also learn how to make fuzzy baby hair and the clothes pictured: a crossover top, comfy pants, a diaper and a knitted fox hat.
If you are curious to learn more, please visit this dedicated page to the baby class.
